Leanna Jimenez

My name is Leanna Jimenez, and I am entering my junior year at SUNY Farmingdale as a professional communications major. Communication has allowed me to branch out and do things that I love. Working on the Next Step Solutions NY team is one of them. Running social media has made me learn so much and I am excited to see what the future holds. It is incredible to see how much this company has done to help guide those with ASD to find the perfect college support program.
Eric Homburger, MA

My name is Eric Homburger and I specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals, specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other non-verbal learning disorders. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Adelphi University in 2016, and my Masters Degree in General Psychology with a Certificate in Human Resource Management in 2017. I am currently attending The University of Maine for my Graduate Certificate in Interdiciplinary Disability Studies. I started Next Step Solutions NY in August 2019 to help neurodiverse individuals find college support programs and make the transition to college as painless as possible. My goal is to provide these students with the proper support system to find success in college and into adulthood. Additionally, I am the Director of Employment Services at Life's WORC, helping individuals find a career path that fits them best. In all of my positions, I want to be an advocate for inclusive hiring and provide new, exciting opportunities for everyone!
